This bag length is 46 inch, and is constructed of 600x600 Polyester, so it is built to endure different environments. The inside compartment has diagonal pockets on each end used to secure the stock along with a velcro strap used to secure the unit on each side. For additional security, the casing has a thick padding in the center divider along with an outside padded outer casing. The three exterior pockets are large enough for keeping your mags and ammo together. There is a secondary compartment which is located behind the 3 exterior pockets which is a double zippered pocket and can store extras such as optics, cleaning kits, or anything else you may need. The amount of storage on this bag is great… you will also find there are 2 side pockets for extras. Portability on this unit is great, it has shoulder harness for backpack style carry, it can also convert to a shoulder strap carry depending on what is more comfortable for you.
